So yesterday I was listening to the song "Successful" by Drake featuring Trey Songz and Lil Wayne. BTW Drake is pretty much one of the many dope Hip Hop artist out right now. But this song, which I never paid any attention to til now, caught my attention yesterday. Everyone wants to be successful in life, whether you're a doctor or lawyer; or whether you rap a lyric or dribble a basketball. Either way whatever your career path is you can be successful.
I, on the other hand, have not really found my calling as far as a successful career is concerned; but for now I will be going to school for Fashion Merchandising. I wanna have my own clothing line and share my SuPA Fly- Ness with the world.
This song tho really just told me to go for it. Money Clothes and Hoes I suppose. But it also made me believe that all of that isn't everything and doesn't make you successful because that stuff will bury you. Just enough to help you survive, too much will kill you. And that's how I wanna live my life. Have enough to survive and provide, plain and simple. Don't need to impress nobody. I impress myself. Too FLy for my own good but not flashy or conceited, just confident in a way.
